Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of an assault.

A teenage boy and girl were involved in a physical altercation in Percheron Road on the Farriers Way estate in Borehamwood on Wednesday (August 3).

Police said the incident happened between 11.30am and 1.20pm and those involved are known to each other.


Hertfordshire Constabulary says a minor injury was sustained which did not require medical treatment.

A 17-year-old boy from Borehamwood has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of assault.

Detective Constable Tilly Parker said: “As part of enquiries into this incident I’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has information which could assist the investigation.
