A property was damaged after a bin store was set alight.
Police are appealing for information after the fire was set in Birch Walk, Grove Road in Borehamwood on July 8.
The fire at around 8pm caused severe damage to the bin storage area, as well as smoke damage to the property above.
PC Conor Eggenton said: “If you believe you may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Birch Walk around the time specified, or think you may have any information that could assist with our enquiries, please get in touch.
“Any information, even something that may seem relatively minor or insignificant, could be key to progressing our investigation.”
