WEST BROM manager Steve Bruce is not ruling a move out for Albion defender Matt Clarke.
The defender spent last season on loan with the Baggies and put in some impressive displays for the west Midlands side as he was named West Brom's supporters' player of the season in 2021/22.
Clarke is currently with Albion for pre-season training and is now into the last year of his contract with the club.
The 25-year-old joined the Seagulls in June 2019 on a four-year deal from Portsmouth for a fee in the region of £3.5million and was manager Graham Potter's first signing at the club, but he is still waiting for his first-team debut.
Baggies boss Steve Bruce has admitted that he would still be interested in re-signing the centre-back but knows that Albion will have the final say.
He told Birmingham Live: “We’ve got to be respectful to Brighton and what they want.
“They indicated that they wanted to see him in pre-season, to decide on what they wanted to do. We’re all spinning the plates. We’ve got to respect Brighton to see what they want.
“They’re only just back. We’ll see. I’m not ruling that out.”
