A road has been closed due to emergency roadworks.
Green Street, which connects Borehamwood and Shenley, has been temporarily shut.
The road closed today (Tuesday May 17) in both directions and could remain shut until at least Thursday (May 19).
According to traffic data management website One Network, Affinity Water is carrying out essential maintenance that does not appear to have been planned.
Drivers can divert via London Road/Rowley Lane while Green Street remains closed.
Transport service information company Intalink says bus routes 357 and 358 have been impacted with the buses on diversion.
Passengers for these services are being asked to alight in Stapleton Road or Stanborough Avenue near Borehamwood, or outside the White Horse pub in London Road in Shenley.
