"Vile" antisemitic graffiti has been drawn on a fence in a Borehamwood park.
Brookmeadow ward councillor Glenn Briski says the graffiti is in Aberford Park and added it has been reported to police and to Hertsmere Borough Council for it to be removed.
It appears a swastika has been daubed on the fence post.
The Conservative member said: "I am aware of the antisemitic graffiti in Aberford Park near Borehamwood & Elstree Synagogue.
"This vile graffiti has no place in our town and it is particularly upsetting that this has happened during Passover.
"I have asked that officers at the council arrange for it to be removed immediately. This has also been reported to the Community Security Trust and the police."

Passover, also called Pesach, is a major Jewish holiday that celebrates the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
Borehamwood has one of the largest Jewish communities in England.
