A fight broke out between two van drivers after a crash on an M25 slip road.
According to police, both men received minor injuries in the brawl, and one man had torn clothing and a broken watch.
The violence erupted after a collision on the westbound slip road at junction 23 of the M25 in South Mimms on March 14 between 9.15am and 9.40am.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the crash involved a silver van and a white van.
PC Emma Gower explained that a member of the public intervened.
An appeal has been launched for any witnesses, or anyone who captured the altercation on their dash cam to come forward.
PC Gower said: "I’d like to appeal for anyone who saw what happened as lots of vehicles would have driven past at the time.”
