A woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car in Radlett.

Emergency services were called to Watling Street shortly after 7pm on Wednesday (March 9) after a report that a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a Porsche Boxter.

Paramedics attended along with the police and the road was closed to allow emergency services to work at the scene safely.

The patient was taken to hospital to have her injuries assessed, which police say are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Porsche remained at the scene with their vehicle recovered.

The road reopened by 9.45pm and police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the collision.
