Two teenagers were arrested and released on bail after a knifepoint robbery at a car park.

Warrants were executed in Edgware and Barnet on Thursday (January 27) in connection with the robbery in an underground car park in Station Road, Borehamwood on Monday evening.

The victim was approached by two people who had their faces covered and threatened him with a large knife.

The two ordered him to hand over his car keys and they made off in his car, which was recovered in Edgware the following today.

Two boys, 14 and 15, both from London, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.

For now they are not allowed to enter Hertsmere while they are released under bail and the investigation continues.

PC Brad Glover said: “Thankfully the victim was not harmed during the robbery, but this would have been a frightening ordeal for him.

“Thanks to intelligence and information from the public we were able to quickly identify suspects and make arrests.”
