A man has been jailed after sexually assaulting a woman at a dentist's in Enfield.
Erick Otieno, of Exeter Road in the borough, touched a woman aged over 16 without her consent at Enfield Dental Practice in September last year.
He also assaulted someone at the practice and used threatening behaviour towards them on the same day.
The 24-year-old denied the charges but was found guilty following a trial on December 10.
Otieno was sentenced on January 11 to six weeks’ prison and ordered to pay £128 victim services surcharge and £100 Crown Prosecution Costs.
During sentencing Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court heard the incident was particularly serious because of his previous record.
On January 5 he was also ordered to pay £339 for being drunk and disorderly in a public place – namely Bishopsgate in London – in early November.
The case was proven in his absence on January 5 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
