A man has been banned from Watford as he waits to be sentenced for several offences, including having a pocket knife in a public place.
Cezary Stawiarski was caught with the blade and another offensive weapon in Williamson Road, Watford, on May 3, 2020.
St Albans Magistrates’ Court heard the 31-year-old had an adapted gold club and a folding pocket knife which had a blade.
The cutting edge of the blade had exceeded 7.62 centimetres (3 inches), the court heard.
The court was told that Stawiarski had the items without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Stawiarski, of Ramsgate, Kent, was found guilty on November 25 of being in possession of an offensive weapon and having a knife blade.
He was also convicted in 2020 of stalking by sending unwanted phone calls and text messages to a person and turning up at an address.
Stawiarski will be sentenced for all three offences on December 17 to allow time for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Until he is sentenced, he is not allowed to enter Watford.
