Police are hunting for three bikers who have been startling horses and riding dangerously near Radlett.

At around 4.20pm on Saturday November 13, police received a call about off-road bikes in Kemprow and in Oakridge Lane.

The riders were described as teenagers, on three different styles of bike, including a medium sized white and blue off-road bike, with a number printed on it, a Vespa style scooter, and a black moped.

Police are particularly keen to track the riders down because tackling "nuisance" off-road biking is one of the policing priorities for the area.

After responding to the call on November 13, officers attended the scene but the riders made off along a bridleway.

However, they left a helmet behind, which has been recovered by police.

PC Kris Endersbee, from the Bushey and Radlett safer neighbourhood team, said: "We have been regularly patrolling the area and plan to work with our colleagues in the constabulary’s rural operational support team to catch those responsible, educate them and, where necessary enforce the law.

"I would urge anyone who might be able to help us to identify the riders of these mopeds to contact me via kris.endersbee@herts.police.uk."
