A Borehamwood pharmacy is offering Covid vaccinations to residents including booster jabs.
Wellswood Pharmacy in Fairway Avenue says it has bookings and walk-ins available throughout the week.
The centre says Pfizer and Moderna jabs are available to people aged over 16.
Booster jabs are available, along with first and second doses which must be at least eight weeks apart. Bookings can be made through the online NHS booking system or by calling 101 but walk-in appointments are also on offer.
Wellswood says patients can turn up without an appointment for any dose of the Pfizer jab between midday and 5pm on weekdays.
People eligible for a booster can get the top-up jab from six months after having their second dose, with anyone aged over 40 eligible from 7am on Monday November 22.
The free vaccination centre at Wellswood is open for the foreseeable between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and from 9.30am until midday on Saturdays.
The full address is Wellswood House, Fairway Avenue, Borehamwood, WD6 1PU.
Around a quarter of Borehamwood's over 12 population remain unvaccinated against Covid-19, according to Public Health England figures.
Professor Stephen Powis, NHS national medical director, said: "I’ve had my booster and I would urge everyone to get their vaccine whether their first, second or top-up dose as soon as possible, giving them and their loved ones vital protection over winter and the festive period."
Vaccines minister Maggie Throup said people must make efforts to “protect the gains we have made through our vaccination programme this winter”, by coming forward for boosters when eligible.
Dr Emily Lawson, head of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme, said: "In the run-up to the festive period and what we know will be a challenging winter, I would encourage everyone who is eligible and invited to take up the offer of a life-saving booster as soon as possible to protect yourself and those around you."
