Two men have pleaded guilty to drug charges after a raid was carried out in Borehamwood.

Officers searched the property in Campions Close on the morning of November 8 and discovered suspected cocaine and cannabis as part of their searches.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says items associated with drug dealing and cash were also seized.

Brothers Samuel Pyne, 24 and James Pyne, 26, both of Campions Close, were arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (cocaine).

They appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on November 9 where they both pleaded guilty. The pair were remanded into custody to await their sentencing.

Sergeant Matt Cann, from the Borehamwood safer neighbourhood team, said: "This warrant was carried out by officers from the constabulary’s operational support group following information from members of the public regarding suspected drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour in the area.

"As well as arresting and charging two people, officers also seized a significant amount of Class A drugs which will now never make it to the streets, preventing further harm to those living with addictions and the exploitation and criminal activity that goes hand in hand with illegal drug supply.

"These arrests show the difference we can make to your neighbourhood and your quality of life by working together to weed out those who deal drugs and break the law. If you have information about illegal activity please do not hesitate to get in touch.”"
