A man's body was discovered in Borehamwood yesterday afternoon (October 11).
Police and paramedics were called to Elstree Way at around 1.50pm after a report that a body had been found.
There was a police cordon outside the iBis hotel for much of the afternoon.
Police have confirmed the man's next of kin have been informed about what happened.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and Hertfordshire Constabulary has said it will be referred to the coroner.
Police say no further details will be issued by them about the man or how his body came to be where it was found.
