Police have issued a further appeal for witnesses after a robbery in a Borehamwood park.

Detectives are investigating the incident which occurred near Meadow Park on the evening of Sunday August 15.

Hertfordshire Constabulary has now confirmed that two people were targeted after an initial report stated just one person had been approached.

At around 8.15pm on August 15, two teenagers were approached by two men in Meadow Road.

The first person - a 15-year-old - had his bag taken, which contained a mobile phone and a bracelet. After demanding the second person’s phone, which was not handed over, the men ran off towards Brook Road.

It was reported to police that one of the suspects was in possession of a knife.

The first man was described as white, wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up and a black mask covering his face.

The second man was described as Asian, 5ft 9ins tall, with short dark coloured hair, a small beard and a moustache, he was wearing a light grey tracksuit with no hood and grey tracksuit bottoms with a stripe.

Detective Constable Vicky Sexton, who is investigating, said: "Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact us to assist with our enquiries.

"If you were in the area at the time of this incident, did you witness it or do you have relevant CCTV footage?
