- A vehicle reportedly overturned on the A1 just north of Borehamwood earlier this afternoon (before 1.40pm).

- The northbound carriageway was closed between Stirling Corner and the M25, with the crash occurring after the junction with Holmshill Lane.

- At around 3pm, the A1 reopened and traffic began running freely again.

- While the closure was ongoing, traffic was extremely heavy on all directions into Stirling Corner, and it was also busy in the Well End area. All of the delays have now cleared.
