SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley is still looking to add to his squad during a ‘tough’ January transfer window.

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild remains Molesley’s only addition in 2021 so far.

But the Blues boss would be more than willing to carry on with his squad the way it is.

“The games have been coming thick and fast but of course we’re always actively looking to see how we could be better,” said Molesley.

“It’s a tough window in January and we have to make sure whoever comes in improves us.

“We’ve got a strong group but with lots of games coming up if one or two right additions come up we might look into it.

“But if they don’t we will carry on working with this group and they’ve shown they’re more than capable.

“This group learns quickly and we will learn from Tuesday too.”
