A further 11 patients with Covid have died at York and Scarborough hospitals
THE coronavirus has claimed the lives of 11 more patients at York and Scarborough hospitals.
NHS England said today that the total number of Covid-related deaths at the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since the start of the pandemic now stood at 434, compared with 423 yesterday.
The figure represents one of the worst daily increases experienced by the trust over the past ten months.
