Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with a stabbing that left a woman seriously injured in hospital.
Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found with multiple stab wounds at an address in Ranskill Road, Borehamwood, on Monday morning.
Numerous emergency services rushed to the street, including an air ambulance which landed nearby.
A woman was rushed to hospital with stab wounds to her chest, with police describing her situation on Monday afternoon as ‘serious’.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH and he was taken into police custody.
Detectives are treating the stabbing as an “isolated” incident.
A police spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary told the Times: “We believe this to be an isolated incident between two parties known to each other, and are not looking for anyone else connected to it.”
