Police have recovered a car from a supermarket car park which was reported to have been stolen.
Officers were on patrol in Borehamwood this morning when they came across a white Audi in Morrisons car park.
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit tweeted shortly after 11.30am (November 20): "Stolen vehicle located in Borehamwood.
"The owner reported it stolen whilst on holiday. Two people detained in the vehicle, enquiries on going.
"Vehicle will now be returned to the rightful owner once it's been fully established."
Police accompanied the tweet with an image of a white Audi loaded onto a recovery truck.
