A FURTHER eight coronavirus deaths have been recorded at Hampshire hospitals, bringing the total to more than 700.
Figures released this afternoon by NHS England reveal a total of 265 deaths in Portsmouth and 193 in the Hampshire Hospitals Trust, up from 262 and 188 on the previous day.
There were no more deaths recorded at Southampton, which remains at a total of 223, as well as Southern NHS Trust (18) and Solent NHS Trust (three).
The total number of deaths in the county now sits at 702.
Across England a further 330 deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours.
This brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 37,124 - up from 36,842.
