The coronavirus rates for each Essex district have been revealed in new figures.

Updates are issued by Essex County Council each Thursday and show how the virus is spreading across the county. 

In the last week, the rate across the council area - which excludes Southend and Thurrock - has increased.

The latest rates are plotted below. The first figure is the rate as of October 29 and is represented as cases per 100,000 popularion. 

The second figure is the most up to date rate, as of November 5

Figures are also released by Southend Council each day. 

As of yesterday, the recorded rate in the borough was 116.9 per 100,000 population. 

Among those aged over 60, the rate is 96.7.
