A person has been taken to hospital following a crash between two vehicles on a motorway.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says police were called around 11.50am today (Wednesday, October 28) to reports of a collision on the M25 westbound, between junctions 21a and 22.
Two vehicles were involved, police said.
The county’s police force said a person has been taken to hospital.
The East of England Ambulance service said they were transported to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and care.
There had been heavy traffic on the earlier today following the crash, with all lanes being held while officers, paramedics and the fire service worked at the scene.

Highways England has said two lanes are now open, but is warning that there are still delays in the area.
