A council has given a ‘sneak peek’ into a new activity park that is set to open to the public in September.
Oxhey Park has been undergoing a big redevelopment, with new sports and leisure facilities being introduced by Watford Borough Council.
This includes a new skatepark, BMX track, toddler and junior adventure play areas, outdoor table tennis and a riverside cafe.
Coronavirus halted work at the park at the beginning of April but construction resumed in May.
And with the opening of the park just weeks away now, the council has given an insight into the latest goings-on at the park.
Pictures show how the new BMX track and skatepark will look in Oxhey Park, while the new adventure play areas look finished.
Work on the exterior of the cafe also seems to be complete.

Back in May, Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: "I am delighted that Oxhey Activity Park is well underway. We have worked closely with the local community on the plans, to make sure they include activities that will appeal to local families.
"Our town has a reputation for outstanding leisure facilities and it’s great to be delivering on one of my key manifesto commitments."
