Up to a dozen police cars reportedly raced to an incident at a property earlier this morning.
Witnesses reported a convoy of police cars travelling through Elstree at around 8am (Monday).
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed it was responding to reports of an incident at an address in Elstree Hill South.
Police attended the address, alongside paramedics, and a search was carried out.
Police say one man was arrested on suspicion of ABH and possession of Class A drugs.
He is currently in police custody.
No further details were given about the incident.
A picture showed emergency vehicles, including marked police cars and an ambulance lining Elstree Hill.
Unmarked police cars and a police van were also reportedly at the scene.
Police also said that while the incident was ongoing, there was a collision involving two vehicles but no one was injured.
Both vehicles needed to be recovered.
