Police have released photos of four people who might be able to help with their enquiries after high value items were stolen from two Tesco supermarkets.

At midday on Sunday 31 May, alcohol, electrical items and cookware items were stolen from Tesco in Shenley Road, Borehamwood.

Shortly afterwards, on the same day, at 1.45pm, a large amount of alcohol was stolen from Tesco in Waterfields Shopping Park, Watford.

Police believe the incidents are linked.

PCSO Tegan Gethin-Golder, from the Borehamwood and Elstree safer neighbourhood team, said: "We believe that the two men and two women pictured may be able to provide information about these two thefts, that could be useful to the investigation.

"Do you recognise them? If so, please get in contact. I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the thefts or anyone who has information about what happened.

"If you can help, please call the non-emergency number 101 or email me at tegan.gethin-golder@herts.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/42379/20 or 41/42602/20."
