A by-election will take place after a parish councillor resigned - but it will not happen until next year.
Hertsmere Borough Council has confirmed voters will need to go to the polls to elect a new councillor after Conservative Aldenham West councillor Garry Walton resigned last month.
The by-election was triggered after the borough council received written requests from a minimum of ten electors in the parish ward.
Had this been below ten, Mr Walton's seat would have been filled by co-option.
But the by-election will not take place until May 6 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Only residents who live in Aldenham West will be eligible to vote in this by-election and voters must be registered.
Aldenham West includes Aldenham, Letchmore Heath, and a small part of Radlett.
