Travellers arrived at Knotty Green cricket ground yesterday evening.

A walker told the Bucks Free Press caravans arrived at the club on Forty Green Road at around 7.30pm on Tuesday evening.

Another person said around 15 police officers were present after they arrived, but the group is still there this morning.

There are around nine caravans on the cricket pitch.

A resident told the Bucks Free Press: "One caravan is parked right across the main cricket pitch.

"This area is used for a number of Beaconsfield residents for exercise and relaxation during lockdown. They can no longer use it."
