A market trader is hoping to introduce customers to the delights of Hungarian honey.

Sylvie Onsanaya, who grew up in Hungary, has been running her family business Honey Heaven since 2015.

The 42-year-old was a regular trader at Walthamstow Sunday market but due to the coronavirus pandemic, she is now only selling her products online.

“Hungarian honeys are famous all over the world and I wanted to introduce the different type of delicious honeys the Hungarian farmlands have to offer to UK customers,” she said.

Honey Heaven imports all its honey from a single “carefully selected” beekeeper in Hungary.

“He lives in the countryside where there is the perfect environment to live surrounded by bees with no air pollution,” she explained.

“Our products are loaded with antioxidants and minerals,” Ade continued. “Raw honey is packed with good-for-you components like B vitamins, minerals, and antibacterial properties.”
