The UK is in lockdown, meaning everyone has been asked to stay at home.
But there are many workers who have to continue to go out and work to keep essential services running.
They are doctors, nurses, carers, police officers, postal workers, delivery drivers, shopkeepers, teachers, supermarket workers, bus drivers, and the list goes on.
We asked readers online to nominate essential workers they know and we were inundated with responses.
As a big thank you to our key workers, we published all the names we received on the Watford Observer front page on Friday.
