- The government has confirmed 37 more people who contracted coronavirus have died, including an 18-year-old patient.

- All the 37 people aged between 18 and 102 who died in England after testing positive for coronavirus were in vulnerable groups including with underlying conditions, the NHS said.

- There have been reports of at least two Covid-19 deaths in the county - an man in his 80s at Watford General Hospital on March 9, while the East & North Herts NHS Trust confirmed on Saturday that a person in their 70s with coronavirus died at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. Both patients had underlying health conditions.

- Boris Johnson has warned the NHS could be "overwhelmed" if people do not act to slow the "accelerating" spread of coronavirus.

- At today's press conference at Downing Street, the Prime Minister issued what appeared to be a final warning for people to abide by coronavirus social distancing measures or face tougher restrictions in the coming days.

- He hinted at stricter measures to limit social gatherings in open spaces, but stopped short of stating that the UK would be subject to a curfew.

- Mr Johnson said the ability to go outdoors for exercise was extremely important for people's wellbeing, but said it needed to be done "responsibly".

- He said: "My message is you've got to do this in line with the advice, you've got to follow the social distancing rule - keep two metres apart."

- He added if people fail to keep to the rules, "tougher measures" will have to be introduced, but refused to say what exactly they would be.

- Meanwhile, deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries said 1.5 million people who have been identified as clinically vulnerable will be advised in the coming days to take shielding measures.

- Those measures include staying at home at all times and avoiding any face-to-face contact.

- The government said this 'shielding' would last for a period of 12 weeks.
