Delays are expected on a railway line until midday after two passengers were taken ill this morning.
Services have been disrupted both northbound and southbound through St Pancras International station.
Operator Thameslink says the 6.18am Bedford to Brighton service was halted to wait for an ambulance to arrive at West Hampstead Thameslink station, after a passenger required medical assistance.
A passenger was also taken ill on the 7.54am Cambridge to Brighton service in the London St Pancras International area.
Both incident caused severe delays for commuters, particularly those heading into London this morning, and services are yet to get back to normal.
Thameslink is warning St Pancras services may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised - disruption is expected until midday.
Northbound trains will now also be affected. This is due to trains and crews being displaced from their normal schedules.
Passengers are advised to leave extra time if using the Thameslink lines in the next couple of hours.
Passengers affected by this morning's disruption may be entitled to compensation. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
