A 28-YEAR-OLD barber killed in a collision which also left her young daughter critically injured died of multiple injuries, an inquest heard.
Chloe Lloyd, of Westerman Way in Wareham was pronounced dead at the scene after her Vauxhall Astra left the carriageway and landed in a ditch.
Assistant Bournemouth Coroner Brendan Allen heard the crash took place on the westbound carriageway of the A35 Upton bypass on January 3.
Emergency services were called at 8.50pm to the scene of the crash, 300 metres from the Bakers Arms roundabout.
A Bournemouth inquest was told that the body of Ms Lloyd, who was born in Poole on August 4 1991, was formally identified by her father, Martin Lloyd.
Coroner's officer Laura Thorne said: "For unknown reason she lost control of the vehicle and left the carriageway."
Ms Lloyd's eight-year-old daughter, Lexi, suffered injuries described by police at the time as life-threatening. Officers have since said her condition is improving.
Mr Allen adjourned the inquest until July 17 to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
