A 16-year-old was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car.
Police were called to a collision involving a teenager and a car in Shenley Road, Borehamwood yesterday (Monday).
There were reportedly five police cars and an ambulance at the scene opposite McDonald's at around 6pm.
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Police were called at just after 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 13 January) to reports of a road traffic collision on Shenley Road, Borehamwood.
"A blue Ford Fiesta and a 16 year old boy were involved.
"Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.
"The boy’s injuries were not thought to be serious, but he was taken to hospital to be assessed."
