A large amount of cash was stolen from a charity shop in Borehamwood.

The Royal Free Charity shop in Shenley Road was broken into over the weekend - sometime between 4.45pm on December 7 and 7.45am on December 9.

The store was broken into via the rear entrance and a substantial amount of cash was stolen from the shop's safe.

Police investigating the burglary have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify, as he may have some information which could help with their enquiries.

PCSO Katerina Hamackova from the Borehamwood safer neighbourhood team, said: "We would like to speak to the man seen in the photograph as he was spotted in the area around the time of the incident.

"Please get in contact if you have any information, no matter how small."
