A lorry driver has been caught taking a “half hour break” near a motorway slip road.
BCH Road Policing tweeted police found the lorry parked 200 yards away from the M25 exit slip road at J19 (Watford).
And the driver was hit with a hefty fine, having to pay £100 and given three points on their licence.

BCH Road Policing tweeted: “And another on his half hour break. Expensive £100 and 3 points. 200 yards from J.19 M25 exit slip which has parking at the end and off the motorway.”
Earlier in the day police caught another lorry driver taking a rest break, this time at the top of the slip road for J23 (Barnet) on the M25.
The driver was hit with a £50 fine to pay on the spot.
