A man has been charged with the murder and is due to appear in court today. in Hackney.

Kieran Brown, 26, of Hackney E9, was charged today (Saturday, December 7), with murder and possession of a pointed or bladed article. He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates' Court.

A murder investigation was launched after police were called at 14:01hrs on Thursday, December 5 to reports of a stabbing in Clarence Mews, Hackney.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended and found a man suffering injuries. Despite their best efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene at 14:33hrs.

The deceased is 22-year-old Exauce Ngimbi. His next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place and a post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

Four males were arrested on suspicion of murder. They are [A] aged 14; [B] aged 26; [C] aged 26; and [D] aged 23.

The other three males have been bailed pending further police enquiries.
