A thief smashed the window of a Range Rover to steal some money inside the car.

Police are investigating a theft in the car park at Borehamwood Shopping Park at around 12.30pm on Wednesday November 13.

A man withdrew some cash from a bank and put it in his vehicle for safekeeping.

The man left his vehicle for a short time, and when he returned, he saw his car had been broken into, and that the money had been taken.

Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would to speak to in connection with the incident as they believe he can help with their enquiries.

Borehamwood Times:

PCSO Barry Lovegrove said: "We’d like to identify the man in this image and speak to him about this incident.

"If you recognise him, or have information about what happened, please get in touch on the non-emergency number 101 or by emailing me at barry.lovegrove@herts.pnn.police.uk, quoting crime reference 41/102533/19.

"I’m also appealing to other witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious at the location around this time as this incident took place in the middle of the day at a busy retail park."
