Good morning. It’s Thursday and almost the weekend! Here is your morning update.


There is congestion and delays of up to 10 minutes on the M1 southbound between junctions J12 and J11A due to an earlier accident.

Conditions are expected to return to normal by 8am.

Two of three lanes are closed on the M11 northbound between junctions J4 and J5 due to an earlier accident.

Expect delays of up to an hour and heavy congestion. Highways England expects the incident to be cleared by 9.30am and normal traffic conditions to return by 10.30am.

An earlier accident between junctions J7 and J7 on the M11 southbound has resulted in 30 minutes delays as lanes two and three are closed.

Conditions are expected to return to normal by 9.45am.

One lane has been closed on the M25 anti-clockwise between junctions J25 and J24 following an earlier accident.

As a result, expect delays of up to 15 minutes.


There are severe delays on several lines this morning.

The Circle line is experiencing severed delays due to a faulty train at Edgeware Road earlier this morning.

There are severe delays between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road only on the District line.

The Hammersmith and City line is also experiencing severe delays due to the faulty train at Edgeware Road.

There are minor delays on the Jubilee line while engineers continue to fix a fault on some trains.

London Overground is part suspended between with no service between Sydenham and West Croydon only, while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track.


Temperatures of 5°C to kick off the day with a brief stint of rain expected at 10am. Temperatures expected to rise to 7°C by midday and fall back down to 5°C again in the evening.
