Both police officers and fire crews are on the scene in Chesham, dealing with an gas main which has caught fire.
Thames Valley Police Chiltern and South Bucks have confirmed that Higham Road will be closed whilst the fire service make the area safe.
They have also thanked the public for their patience.

Bucks Fire and Rescue have confirmed to the Bucks Free Press that "firefighters are currently dealing with a gas main which is alight.
"A cordon has been set up as a precaution and we are currently using defensive firefighting to control the fire."
UPDATE - Bucks Fire and Rescue have confirmed: "The incident has now been brought to a safe conclusion.
"Surrounding area protected, gas and electricity isolated."
