This summer Harrow Arts Centre have teamed up with HA1 BID to present a mini-pride parade at Harrow town centre’s Summer Festival on Saturday, August 24. In preparation for this celebration, the first of its kind in Harrow, the centre are also running a free creative workshop open to all.
With funding support from 1 Enterprise and St Georges Shopping Centre, Harrow Arts Centre are organising a free Carnival Arts workshop on Sunday, August 18, between 10am and 4.30pm, where participants can design their own set of beautiful and expressive wings to wear during the parade on Saturday, August 24. Led by professional artist Rose Perry, the workshop will draw on traditional carnival arts techniques and celebrates each maker’s individuality.
