A car was driven into the back of an Audi before two men jumped out and stole the victim's car.

A woman was in Furzehill Road, Borehamwood, at 11.15pm on Saturday, when a car crashed into the back of her white vehicle.

Two white men emerged and reportedly gestured as if they were going to exchange details.

Instead, they grabbed the woman's car keys from her, and drove off in her Audi as well as the other vehicle - which make and model is unknown at this stage.

It happened near the junction of Carrington Avenue, along Furzehill Road.

The woman was not injured but according to a report on Facebook, she ran screaming to her house which was nearby.

A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "At 11.15pm on Saturday 27 July in Furzehill Road, Borehamwood, a woman had her car stolen.

"The suspects - who are said to be two white men - drove their vehicle into the back of the victim’s Audi before stealing her keys and driving off after pretending to come out to exchange details.

"As investigations continue, we encourage anyone who may have information that could help the investigation to dial 101, quoting 41/68209/19."
