A scout group celebrated its centenary by inviting the relatives of the scoutmaster who founded the group.
As part of the 100 year celebrations, 1st Radlett Scout Group welcomed the daughter and two grandchildren of Jack Nash, who set up the scouting group on May 16 1919, supported by Charles Cuddiford.
Past leaders were also welcomed back on Saturday, travelling from all parts of the country, and guests enjoyed a party at the group's headquarters in Scrubbits Wood in Radlett.
President Ron Worthy, who has been involved in the group for 56 years, welcomed guests before they were served afternoon tea, and many stayed for an evening barbecue.
There was a centenary cake too, cut by Jack's daughter, Jennifer.
Old friends were reunited and there was plenty of reminiscing to be had., while inside HQ, photo albums and scrapbooks documented the past 100 years.
The anniversary comes a year after the 1st Radlett Scout Troops appealed for new volunteers - otherwise the group could have faced closure.
Thankfully, new volunteers were found in January, and boys and girls aged 10-14 are enjoying the full benefits of being part of a scouting group.
However, the group now needs volunteers for the Beavers aged 6-8 and the Cubs aged 8-10. No previous scouting experience is needed.
