Nigel Farage's Brexit Party has topped the polls in the European elections in Hertsmere.
The party secured 8,145 votes, beating the Liberal Democrat Party, which managed 6,062 votes.
The Conservative party, which dominates the borough at local level, could only poll 4,673 votes.
Turnout in the borough was 36.39 per cent.
The district's results contribute to the result for the Eastern England Region, which is made up of Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
