An upcoming choirs showcase will feature the talents of eight Enfield choirs performing their best songs to raise money for the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre (NCSC).

The Enfield Choirs Showcase, at Enfield Baptist Church on Saturday, June 1, aims to raise £3,000 for NCSC, while also hoping to inspire the audience to join a local choir.

The choirs involved are:

The Big Choir: This choir exists to raise money for cancer research through subscriptions and performances. They have raised over £40,000 in the last three years.

Enfield Choral Society: The society emerged from The Young People’s Society of Enfield, founded in 1938. The society was formed to provide a bridge for young people leaving the Sunday School choir at Christchurch but being too young to join the adult choir.

Sing Out: An inclusive community choir for people with various needs.

Young Notes: A pop choir for 4-18 year olds. They even do music videos and also teach signing and singing.

St Anne’s Gospel Choir: An award-winning choir who recently performed with Kingdom Choir on their tour.

MumSing: A new daytime choir run by a mum for mums in Enfield, where children are welcome. They love to sing Disney, Broadway, musicals, the latest pop songs and even gospel.

Enfield Community Choir: A local community choir who enjoy singing show tunes and old time classics

Adorned Community Gospel Choir: A local Gospel choir singing contemporary Gospel.
