Wealdstone reached the National League South semi-finals after a 3-1 win at Bath City in their play-off eliminator.

The Stones made a fast start in Somerset and opened the scoring after just 11 minutes when Jake Sheppard picked up the ball after a poor clearance and fired his low shot into the corner of the net.

Bath threatened an equaliser and Wealdstone goalkeeper Jonathan North pulled off a stunning save from Tom Smith's effort.

The visitors doubled their lead after 63 minutes when Jeffrey Monakana netted at the back post.

Bath were reduced to ten men when Ryan Brunt was sent off for a dangerous challenge which resulted in North being stretchered off with a head injury. The keeper was given the all-clear following scans after the game.

City pulled one back in the last ten minutes through substitute Adam Mann's long-range strike.

But the Stones clinched victory in injury time when David Pratt stole in to net from close range.

Wealdstone, who only reached the play-offs after a win over Hemel Hempstead on the final day of the league season, will travel to Woking in their semi-final on Sunday afternoon.
