The public are being encouraged to get involved after a dementia club launched in the town.
Aimed at providing care, advice, and fun activities, Dementia Club UK unveiled its new centre at The Venue in Elstree Way on Monday.
Set up by Lisa Rutter, chairman of Dementia Club UK and councillor at Brunswick Park in Barnet, Borehamwood has become the tenth club and the first to operate outside of Barnet.

The Mayor of Elstree & Borehamwood, Cllr Victor Eni, and Saracens chairman Nigel Wray, and Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Elstree and Borehamwood, were among the guests who attended the launch while entertainment was provided by Elvis impersonator, Peter Webb.
Cllr Rutter said: βIt was a very successful launch and everyone had great fun with lots of smiling faces. Our aim is to continue to raise awareness and help as many people as possible. I look forward to welcoming new members in the local area.β
The next session at The Venue will take place on Monday April 15 from 1pm to 3pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and you can turn up on the day.
