Work to extend and improve Elstree & Borehamwood station is on track and progressing well.
Behind the hoardings, glass panels are being fitted to the new front of the building, with work expected to be completed by April.
The forecourt and a new coffee shop to the right of the building is expected to be finalised by the early summer.
The £1.5m scheme will see a new forecourt, which will provide a reconfigured ticket queuing system, as well as disabled toilets, and a second entrance and exit
Thameslink station manager Marc Asamoah said: “Every single day the new building looks different. It’s quite amazing how things have been changing so fast. I am really looking forward to moving in. I can’t wait for it to be completed.”
