intu Watford has undergone a major transformation and expansion – bringing with it a state-of-the-art bowling centre and arcade.

Having opened in December, Hollywood Bowl has got the ball well and truly rolling and already proven to be a hit with people young and old in the town.

With 14 lanes, an American style diner, and a room full of old school and fun arcade games, the centre is the perfect day or night out no matter the occasion.

The £2.4m bowling alley is snug with the bowling lanes and the arcade right next to each other but there is plenty of space in the diner which is also home to a fun and jazzy drinks bar.

The centre has all the mod cons and a bonus feature at intu Watford is the screen will snap a photo of the player which will appear alongside your name on the scoreboards. A serious or cheeky pose, it adds a little bit of extra fun on your visit.

The Hollywood Diner serves burgers, hot dogs, freshly made thick shakes served in retro milk bottles, and signature desserts, while the American-style bar offers cocktails and two American pool tables.

Visitors can also play in Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusements area, which features leading games such as Mario Kart, Crossy Roads, Cruis’n Blast and retro games like Space Invaders and Pacman Hoops.

There is also the opportunity to ‘Play for Prizes’, where visitors can win tickets on their favourite games and exchange them for fun goodies.
