The mayor of Elstree & Borehamwood, Cllr Victor Eni, has delivered the following message for 2019 and sends his best wishes to the people living in the area.
Cllr Eni said: "As the old year retires and a new one is born, we commit into the hands of our creator the happenings of the past year and ask for direction and guidance in the new one.
"May he grant us his grace, his tranquility and his wisdom. May 2019 bring you the strength to create the best year in your lives. I wish you and your families a joyful, bright, healthy, prosperous and happy new year."
